AGA´s cylinders are coloured according to the European standard EN 1089-3 that makes it possible to identify gas features from long-distance (a summary of the characteristics of the cylinders in common industrial use is given below).
Users should always have AGA safety data sheets for each of the gases stored and used.
The gas content of a cylinder can be identified by referring to the cylinder label or collar. This label also provides vital safety information. The diagram below explains the different elements of a typical cylinder label:
