Aeration tanks are the bottleneck at many overloaded waste water treatment plants. By supplementing aeration with the addition of oxygen it is possible to boost the efficiency of the biodegradation of organic matter, especially at higher capacity utilization.
Oxygen is particularly helpful in handling seasonal peak loads. The oxygen alternative is a low investment alternative and the gas represents a variable cost connected to actual consumption. Most of our dissolving advices do not add to the energy cost.
