Auto Chemist

. | The AutoChemist automatic laboratory was developed by the brothers Gunnar and Ingemar Jungner and launched by AGA in 1966. It was used as an automatic analyzer in clinical laboratories and could perform 3,000 analyses an hour corresponding to 100 laboratory employees. This opened up new opportunities for health control and mass examinations. |
| However, the expected demand failed to occur. In spite of continued product development AGA did not succeed in making the AutoChemist profitable. These operations were sold in 1975. |
