| In order to be able to supply lenses for lighthouses and lamps in spite of restrictions during the first world war, AGA established its own glass grinding plant. At the beginning of the second world war the military authorities asked the company to manufacture reflecting sights, range finders and periscopes. This led to precision optics being added to the manufacturing program. | AGA’s continued focus on advanced electronics and optics manufacture later resulted in a number of new products. |
